Donna Combs

CEO

Donna is a very motivated medical professional who holds separate degrees in nursing (BSN) and Business and Health Services Administration. She has over 36 years of experience as a registered nurse with a strong background in critical care and management. Donna has spent the last 32 years dedicated to the improvement and delivery of End Stage Renal Disease services, serving in different capacities before founding Correctional Dialysis Services (“CDS”) (formerly known as CharDonnay Dialysis) in 1994. As the Health Services Administrator for BMA in California, the need to provide onsite Inmate Dialysis Treatment Services at Santa Rita County Jail was recognized and shortly thereafter CDS was formed. Over the last 26 years, CDS has successfully provided dialysis services to over 65 different correctional facilities across the country. CDS has been a women-owned business since inception with Donna Combs-Williamson as the founder, majority owner, and CEO.
 
Donna has had personal involvement with the transition and execution of each contract held by the company, developing numerous proposals, building teams, advocating for clinical improvement, ensuring contractual compliance, resolving operational issues, and achieving client satisfaction through consistently great service.
 
Donna resides in Austin, Texas with her youngest two of five children. Donna enjoys spending time with her family (including the addition of her 3 new grandchildren), working out, traveling, trying great food, and reading good books.
